Importance of Reviews in 2018

Why reviews are important

Review plays a great role in influencing a buyer’s decisions almost in everything. You don't just read reviews, but compare, analyze and validate if they are worth every penny you plan to spend. As a customer, we feel secure when another customer comes forward and shares that the product we're looking for is good enough to buy. This gives us a sense of loyalty and how people are feeling about this X brand or a shop or maybe even a movie.

Speaking of stats, it shows that 40% of consumers form an opinion by reading just one to three reviews vs 29% in previous years!
68% of the people say positive reviews make them trust a local business

If our friend said that the shop in our neighborhood sells old products we don’t buy from them anymore. If the movie released yesterday has only 3 stars we ain't going to spend our money to the theatre to watch that, right? We are fascinated only by the 4.5 or 4.4-star ratings of the game we downloaded, the bike we chose, the dress we bought, starting from hair coloring to the fish treatment for our foot. We refuse the idea of buying a product or using the service when nobody speaks well about. Don't we?

Why reviews are important ?

The more we find people talking about the brand the more its chances of influencing our lives. We all live in this digital era and everything is controlled by things we see on the web. Reviews can be good or bad, both are helpful for us decide specifically for the brand to develop. Positive reviews are going to make us buy! Negative reviews will help the brand to identify the loopholes they missed. Before we review anything online or offline, we have to remember that our review has to be positive or positively negative. While writing reviews don't start with complaining about how unhappy you felt, instead begin with positive aspects and bring in the negatives for correction. Why so? because as a human we all need to be appreciated for the amount of goodness we hold and then need to be corrected. On other hands, appreciating the goodness you experienced while using the product or enjoying the service can give that organization a pat on the back and gives them a good picture of you. You'll sound more diplomatic. Chances are there the organization might even take fast paces because of the valuable point you made. Bonus!

For example: Assume You went to your nearby hospital and the receptionist had a hard face and a bad tongue. But the therapy was good and you had a relief. If you wish to let know about the receptionist to the organization through your review don't get started with complaining. Instead, keep in mind that you have to:
1. Be positive
2. Or be positively negative
Just Like: I visited your XXX hospital lately, The therapist made everything up after the counseling. I have never felt so good after a therapy!  But, the receptionist at the front desk is not greeting with patients with respect. It was the only upsetting factor in your place. Kindly look into this.
------

This makes you sound more confident as a loyal customer who is wishing always good for the organization. The receptionist might be shifted or warned. You get what you wanted in a nonoffending way. It is inevitable, as we have already noted, that you will, at some point in time, give negative reviews. Reviews are a good way through which you can steer the ultimate goal of making the organization realise your needs and expectations.

Reviews not only help you to make better decisions but makes you feel right. So start writing reviews, no matter how worse or best your reviews are going to turn out it might help some person who really is struggling to make the right decision. When a business, product or service has already received reviews it seems to encourage new visitors like you to leave your own feedback. Just the appearance of a number of reviews appears to be enough to give you the confidence to add your own views on that particular product or service. You might even end up buying that product. Also, remember that for every fake review a person just like you will suffer. It's your voice, Do not fake them. Writing honest reviews help consumers in making decisions which don't leave them confused. That's the point of the story!
